As One Door Closes

As one door closes, another door is left wide open,

finally I can see the light!

Death’s trap door is forever closed, I now have the key to eternal life,

Thank you Jesus!

You have made the way to heaven

You help me every step of the way.

Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path.*

Though I live my life in uncertainty at times, never knowing what the next day bring,

I can still be certain of your love unfailing,

your love never ending, it remains the same!
