Children Of The Light

One God that came to seek and save us,

Is the same God who unites all believers.

There is one body that is joined together,

One king who rules as the head forever.

He is the true light that came into the world,

His light came to shine forth as we are called,

Called to become His children of the light.

Clothe yourself with the armour of light, put on the Lord Jesus Christ*;

His passion is surely stronger, stronger than a billion bushfires.

The darkness has no place to hide it’s face!

Light up this world that has fallen away

Claim that territory the Lord has won.

First come to the end of your self,

For it is time for something else:

Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Go into all the world, a victory is waiting for you.

It's already been won, are you ready to claim it?

Now we say it's the end of self,

It's now time for something else:

This is Christ in you, the hope of glory.*
